UL Solutions has introduced a certification program for direct-to-chip liquid cooling equipment used in AI data centers. The safety science company says the certification is intended to help data center operators and hardware makers validate the safety and performance of liquid cooling systems as AI workloads drive higher power densities and cooling demands in modern facilities.

ZutaCore has announced a partnership with Options Technology to provide liquid cooling solutions to financial services firms. The deal will bring ZutaCore's waterless two-phase direct-to-chip cooling technology to Options' data centre and trading infrastructure clients, as financial companies face rising heat loads from high-density computing and AI workloads.
