Wildfowl

Fairy inkcap fungi have been photographed growing on an old tree stump at the WWT Castle Espie wetland reserve in Northern Ireland. The image highlights autumn's forest floor displays, with the delicate white caps appearing on decaying wood. Nature enthusiasts are sharing seasonal wildlife sightings from the reserve, which is run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
