Westlothiana

Researchers have produced an X-ray reconstruction of Westlothiana, a 340-million-year-old fossil from Scotland often cited as one of the earliest known reptile-like land vertebrates. The imaging work offers a fresh look inside the fossil without damaging it, helping scientists study how the earliest four-legged animals moved from water onto land.
