WITF

Carrie Wissler-Thomas is retiring after more than five decades of involvement in Harrisburg's arts community, closing a career that local outlet WITF says left a lasting mark on the city's cultural scene. The long-tenured figure is being recognized for shaping the arts landscape in Pennsylvania's capital, prompting reflection on her decades of contributions.

WITF has launched a new installment of its Susquehanna Stories series featuring Rob Evans, who serves as curator of river art. The segment introduces Evans and his work connected to the Susquehanna River, highlighting art inspired by or about the waterway. It forms part of the outlet's ongoing coverage of people and stories tied to the region.
