Volotea

Spanish airline Volotea, headquartered in Bilbao, has filed for pre-insolvency protection from creditors as it works to restructure its finances. The carrier is simultaneously cutting back its fleet and workforce, raising concerns about routes, jobs and connectivity for the airports it serves in Spain, France and Italy.
