Employees of the UWV's Handhaving (enforcement) department say they face discrimination within their own division, according to reporting by Het Parool. One worker claimed that objectivity disappears 'if someone is a person of colour'. The allegations have raised questions about workplace culture at the Dutch employee insurance agency, which is responsible for administering benefits and enforcing compliance.
