Tre Hargett

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett reminded eligible Tennesseans that today is the final day to register to vote in the state's November general election. The announcement, issued by the Secretary of State's office, urges residents to confirm or complete their registration before the deadline passes. Voter registration cutoffs ahead of general elections routinely draw attention as campaigns encourage turnout and officials work to avoid eligible voters being turned away at the polls.
