Tokunoshima

Two unlicensed driving incidents are drawing attention in Japan. In Minokamo, Gifu Prefecture, a car mounted a sidewalk and left a man in critical condition, and police say the driver may have been unlicensed. Separately, a man in Isen, Kagoshima Prefecture, was arrested on suspicion of unlicensed driving after speeding off in front of Tokunoshima police station when an officer knocked on his window at a checkpoint.
