Morgan Freeman is drawing attention in Italy, where coverage of The Shawshank Redemption, Le Ali della Libertà, compares the film with Stephen King's original novella, focusing in particular on how the ending changes between the two versions. The classic 1994 prison drama, starring Freeman and Tim Robbins, remains one of the most beloved films in Italian audiences' hearts.
