Yokohama DeNA BayStars announced that pitcher Shinichi Onuki and four other players, including outfielder Tatsuya Hashimoto, will not be offered standard managed contracts for next season. Instead, the club has proposed development-player contracts to all five, a common step in Nippon Professional Baseball that keeps players in the organization at reduced status.
