Albania face San Marino in a World Cup qualifying fixture, with head coach Sylvinho and striker Rey Manaj telling a press conference that a win would keep alive their chances of finishing first in the group. San Marino, ranked among the world's weakest sides, are heavy underdogs, but Albania still need results elsewhere to go their way to top the table.

Albania have completed their preparations in Helsinki ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Finland, with coach Sylvinho's staff reportedly wary of the opposition's threat from set pieces. On the Finnish side, attention is on keeping the squad united amid criticism, with the camp stressing that no player has walked away despite the tension surrounding the team.

Albanian sports media are weighing whether coach Sylvinho should rotate his lineup to protect at-risk players against the group's weakest opponent.
