Stoughton

The murder trial of Matthew Farwell, the former Stoughton, Massachusetts police officer charged in the death of Sandra Birchmore, is not being broadcast or streamed. Massachusetts generally prohibits cameras in its courtrooms, so the public cannot watch proceedings live and must rely on reporters inside the courthouse. The case has drawn heavy attention because of the charges against a onetime officer and the circumstances of Birchmore's death.
