Spaceshiptember

The Spaceshiptember building challenge has reached its final day, with participants marking Day 30 under the theme 'Homage'. Builders are sharing Lego space creations, with one entry nodding to Spaceman Spiff from the comic Calvin and Hobbes. The annual event runs throughout September and draws amateur spacecraft designers sharing models online.

An artist has posted a new digital painting titled 'Last Unicorn', depicting a science fiction spaceship, created in Photoshop as part of a sketch and speedpainting practice. The piece is tagged under community art challenges such as Shiptember and Spaceshiptember, which invite creators to design spacecraft throughout the month. The artwork has drawn a small amount of attention from the art community so far.
