Shareholder Rights Directive

WWF's EU office has published a position paper calling for a revision of the EU Shareholder Rights Directive to better support a sustainable economy. The paper argues that the directive should be updated so shareholders and company boards are encouraged to account for environmental and human rights considerations in corporate governance. It sets out the environmental group's recommendations ahead of any legislative debate on the rules.
