Satellite communications company SatPort has acquired Speedcast's teleport business, taking ownership of ground station infrastructure serving maritime, energy and enterprise customers. SatPort Infrastructure, a platform backed by private equity firm EQT, has completed its acquisition of the teleport business from satellite communications company Speedcast.
