Sam Tarry

SNP MP Lara Bird, Scottish Greens MSP Kate Nevens, Labour MP Clive Lewis, former MP Sam Tarry and Basque EH Bildu Senator Josu Estarrona Elizondo were denied entry by Israel, with some spending up to eight hours in interrogation. The delegation had travelled with the aim of meeting Palestinian students. The incident is drawing attention to Israel's treatment of visiting parliamentarians and delegations critical of its policies.
