The Comedy Wildlife Awards have announced this year's finalists, releasing a fresh batch of humorous animal photographs. German media outlet SWR3 is inviting readers to browse the shortlisted entries, which showcase wildlife photographers capturing animals in comical poses. The annual competition celebrates funny images of animals to entertain audiences and, the organisers say, draw attention to wildlife conservation.

A long-running fan joke is making the rounds again: listeners note that the spoken bridge in Britney Spears' 2000 hit 'Oops I Did It Again' has her saying she thought the old lady dropped the diamond into the ocean, seemingly reading out how James Cameron's Titanic ends before the film was even released. German outlet SWR3 picked up the question, adding that the spoiler isn't just the ship sinking. Fans continue to debate whether it was a cheeky reference or coincidence.
