STENTBOT

The EU-funded STENTBOT project, backed through the Horizon programme, has developed miniature robots designed to deliver unprecedented treatments for brain damage. The results were published in a results brief by the European Commission's CORDIS service. The tiny devices are intended to navigate the brain's vasculature, opening new possibilities for treating strokes and other forms of brain injury that are difficult to reach with conventional methods.
