Roy Pope

The Fort Worth City Council has approved plans for a restaurant at the former Roy Pope grocery store site, despite opposition from nearby residents. Neighbors had raised concerns about traffic, parking, and the impact on the surrounding residential area. The council's decision means the long-vacant landmark property will move forward with redevelopment, though some community members remain unhappy with the outcome.
