A human rights lawyer has accused governments across the political spectrum of complicity in ethnic cleansing and genocide, arguing there is no other explanation for the celebration of such acts and the platforming of speeches by wanted criminals. She questions how many states that signed the Rome Statute and the Geneva Conventions are actually upholding their obligations under international law.
