Pulehu Solar

Hawaiian Electric has asked Hawaii's Public Utilities Commission for approval of the Pulehu Solar project, a renewable energy development on Maui. The utility says the project would add solar power to the island's grid as Hawaii continues its shift away from fossil fuels. The request now awaits regulatory review, with residents watching how the proposal could affect energy costs and reliability.
