Polysubstance Addiction Research Center

The University of California, San Diego has been awarded $12.6 million to establish a new research center focused on polysubstance addiction, the use of multiple drugs in combination. The center will support studies into how combined substance use affects the brain and treatment outcomes, an area of growing concern amid the overdose crisis.
