The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has approved new regulations allowing Polish military pilots to destroy aerial targets without prior visual contact, if necessary. Ukraine's armed forces reported that on September 30 the country preliminarily countered more than 80% of Russian jet-powered drones. Military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov said Ukraine is already using interceptor drones against Russian jet drones in combat conditions. Separately, Sweden will send Gripen fighter jets from October to help protect Polish airspace, as European air-defence cooperation against Russian aerial threats intensifies.
