Pizza Bot

Pizza Bot is a new open-source project that provides an inbox for background AI agents, letting developers collect and manage messages or tasks produced by agents running asynchronously. Published on InfoQ, the project is being discussed as a practical building block for agentic software, giving teams a standard way to handle agent output outside of a live chat interface.

AWS developers have released Pizza Bot as an open-source project. It provides an inbox-style interface for managing background AI agents, letting developers queue up and review agent tasks the way they handle email messages. The move gives teams a ready-made pattern for interacting with AI agents that run asynchronously rather than in a live chat window.
