Bradley Cooper is set to star in a new G.I. Joe film for Paramount Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The casting signals a fresh take on the Hasbro military-action franchise, which Paramount has previously adapted with mixed results. Details on the plot, director, and release date have not yet been announced, but the news has drawn attention given Cooper's star power and the franchise's mixed box-office history.
