Panmunjom

In October 1951, United Nations Command forces in Korea strengthened their defensive positions as truce negotiations with communist forces resumed at Panmunjom. With the talks stalled for weeks, both sides used the lull to reinforce front lines, and UN units worked to improve fortifications while negotiations over armistice terms, including prisoner exchange and boundary lines, restarted.
