Paderborn

Two men from Paderborn visited the Oktoberfest in Munich and returned to their hotel room heavily intoxicated, where one of them vomited in the shower. The blocked drain caused water to overflow and flood parts of the hotel, forcing staff to intervene. The incident is being reported as an example of the excesses associated with the festival season.
