NVIDIA is relying on PTFE, a low-loss fluoropolymer better known as Teflon, as a key material in the cabling and interconnects of its next-generation AI rack systems. The material helps preserve signal integrity at the extremely high data rates required to link thousands of GPUs inside a single rack-scale computing cluster.
