Northcote

Construction has begun on the Northcote Early Parenting Centre in Melbourne's north, according to the Victorian Health Building Authority. The centre will form part of Victoria's network of early parenting services, which support families with young children dealing with sleep, feeding and settling challenges. Details on the facility's size, cost and opening date have not yet been released.

The Northcote Dancers, a dance group in Melbourne's north, are being highlighted in Victorian local news for their work around disability, inclusion and equality. The story ties the group to Olympic themes, framing their performances and community role as an example of participation in sport and the arts for people with disabilities.
