Neurable

Neurable has introduced what it says are the first headphones with built-in brain-scanning technology, designed to track users' attention and help them fine-tune their focus. Wired has an exclusive look at the device, which applies neuroscience to consumer audio wearables. Early coverage centres on how the headphones read brain activity and what that could mean for productivity tools.

Neurable has unveiled its first brain-scanning headphones, the Neurable One, which the company claims can keep wearers in a focused state, calculate the best time to take a break, and signal when their 'brain battery' needs recharging. The announcement, reported as an exclusive, is drawing attention to how neurotechnology could be used to fine-tune concentration in everyday work life.
