Musicians are preparing for Looptober, a month-long challenge inviting people to create and share music loops throughout October. The event, detailed on a dedicated website, is being promoted across the fediverse with calls for producers, musicians and loop-makers to take part under shared hashtags for 2026.

The post is being shared with tags pointing to the IndieWeb and SmallWeb communities, informal movements favouring personal websites over large platforms.
