NTI Index

The Nuclear Threat Initiative has released its 2026 NTI Index, highlighting five data points that assess how countries manage nuclear and radiological materials. The index, published roughly every two years, ranks states on security practices and highlights gaps in global nuclear security. Readers are being urged to review the key findings to understand where progress is being made and where risks remain.
