Minnie Evans

The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York is presenting 'The Lost World: The Art of Minnie Evans', an exhibition reviewed by the Wall Street Journal as a display of creative abundance. Evans, a self-taught Black artist from North Carolina known for visionary, mystical drawings, receives a major institutional survey that brings her lush, symbol-filled work to a wider audience.
