Mibu

Architecture studio Tato Architects has completed a timber house in Mibu, Japan, with a fully planted roof that extends the garden over the building itself. The green roof blurs the line between house and landscape, letting outdoor space continue uninterrupted across the top of the home. The design is drawing attention for its low-rise, nature-integrated approach to residential architecture.
