Marausa II

A probable Roman-era wreck has been identified in the sea off Mazara del Vallo, in western Sicily, and the authorities have placed the area off-limits to protect the underwater site. Local coverage is also revisiting a related dispute: the regional administrative court ruled in favour of Francesco Brascia in the case of the Marausa II wreck, after the discoverer was denied a prize.
