Mara Vitale

Researchers including Matthew Curtis of the University of Southern Denmark, David de la Croix, Filippo Manfredini and Mara Vitale have compiled a dataset tracking academic human capital across European countries and regions from 1200 to 1793. The work, shared with education and science communities online, offers a centuries-long view of how scholars and universities shaped regional development across Europe.
