Lolland

Denmark is laying out plans for what happens to the construction sites once the Fehmarnbelt fixed link tunnel is finished. The project, which will connect the German island of Fehmarn with the Danish island of Lolland, is one of Europe's largest infrastructure undertakings, and questions about restoring and repurposing the massive works areas are drawing attention in northern Germany and Denmark.
