Leiferde

The district of Gifhorn in Lower Saxony is seeing a string of local news. Firefighters rescued a dog from an apartment fire in Leiferde, and a vacant country inn near Brenneckenbrück on the B188 also caught fire, leaving resident Peggy Krebs to start over. Four break-ins occurred in one night across the district, with police investigating a possible link. Police are also searching for witnesses to an injured fallow deer, and two Gifhorn streets will soon become one-way.
