LVDS

New footage related to LVDS Samara, a facility in the Russian city of Samara, is circulating and drawing attention online. Samara, a major industrial city on the Volga, has been in focus amid the war in Ukraine, with Russian energy and industrial sites there reportedly targeted by drones. Details about the footage and what exactly it shows remain unconfirmed.

A new attack has set the Samara linear fuel depot ablaze, with the facility engulfed in a large-scale fire. Ukraine's General Staff had earlier reported on the consequences of an October 2 strike on the same depot, saying it destroyed 11 tanks of 20,000 cubic meters each, three tanks of 50,000 cubic meters, and a section of pipelines. The fresh hit suggests the site was struck again before repairs could restore its capacity.
