Kashmiri Pandits

India has strongly criticised Pakistan at the United Nations, accusing it of driving the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley and of using terrorism as state policy. The sharp exchange between the two countries' representatives comes as the long-running dispute over Kashmir once again takes centre stage in international diplomacy, drawing wide attention to the humanitarian toll on the displaced Pandit community.
