Josh Howerton

Pastor Josh Howerton has drawn attention with a message framed as 'How to Vote Like Jesus', urging Christian voters to consider how their faith should shape their political choices. The framing has sparked debate about mixing religion and electoral politics, with supporters seeing moral guidance and critics viewing it as blending faith with partisan voting.

Josh Howerton, pastor of Lakepointe Church in Texas, has released an hour-long episode of his Live Free podcast explaining and refuting five Christian heresies. The rundown walks through historic doctrinal errors the church has condemned and argues why each falls outside orthodox Christian teaching. The episode is drawing significant attention among religious audiences, with engagement topping 175,000, as viewers share and debate which false teachings are most dangerous today.
