John Muir

A John Muir quote urging people to climb mountains and let nature's peace refresh them is being shared widely: "Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn." Readers are passing it along as a calming reminder of the restorative power of the outdoors.

Golf media outlet GolfWRX is highlighting golf courses in the Adirondack and Green Mountain regions of New York and Vermont, invoking John Muir's famous line 'the mountains are calling, and I must go'. The piece showcases the appeal of scenic mountain golf in the northeastern United States.
