NASA has confirmed that the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is already transmitting data to Earth, ahead of the start of its regular scientific observations. The agency tested whether ground stations could handle the full data flow once the telescope begins operations, with stations run by three space agencies taking part, including Japan's JAXA.
