InnerLoop

Breadcrumb, a Mac app from Innerloop Works, has launched on Hacker News, drawing attention with its pitch of recording everything on a user's machine and acting as a context manager for AI tools. The app promises continuous capture of on-screen activity so AI assistants can pull relevant context from a user's recent work.

A new developer tool called Breadcrumb has launched, offering Mac users a way to record everything happening on their machine and turn that history into context for AI assistants. The tool is presented as a 'context manager', aiming to give AI models relevant background from a user's actual activity rather than relying only on prompts. Response so far appears to be early, with discussion centring on privacy implications and how useful captured activity is for AI workflows.
