News18's Hindi bulletin reports that Iran has carried out a sudden attack, framing it as an update in the escalating confrontation between Iran and the United States. The report references former US president Donald Trump and Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), suggesting the strike is tied to the wider standoff over strikes, retaliation and nuclear tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Labour MPs Kim Johnson, Mary Eslamdoust, Navendu Mishra and Andy McDonald visited the Palestine Solidarity Campaign stall at the party's conference, backing calls for stronger sanctions on Israel, a full end to arms sales, and a boycott of companies such as Palantir. Their show of support highlights continued internal pressure on the party leadership over its Middle East policy.
