HotDog CMS has been released as an open website builder that stores pages as Markdown files in git, runs its editor entirely in the browser, and serves sites as static pages so the editor never touches the web server. The developers caution it is version 0.1.0, assembled from their internal tools, and was previously used to power their own sites.
