Gochar

Attention in India is on a Gochar (planetary transit) as Saturn is set to change its nakshatra this evening. Hindi news channels and astrology commentators are discussing what the shift signals for three zodiac signs currently going through Sade Sati, the roughly seven-and-a-half-year period of Saturn's influence. Coverage focuses on which signs face difficulties and what remedies or precautions believers might consider during the transit.

Astrology coverage in India is focused on Rahu's transit into a sign ruled by Saturn, a planetary movement considered significant in Vedic astrology. Bengali-language articles claim that people born under three particular zodiac signs stand to benefit financially or otherwise from this gochar (transit), while readers are checking horoscope updates to see if their sign is among the lucky ones.
