FlagOS

Beijing's Academy of Artificial Intelligence has released FlagOS 2.2, an open software stack for running AI models across different chip architectures. The update expands public operator libraries from 564 to 1,454 and delivers roughly 27% overall performance gains across ten types of AI hardware. The release underscores China's push to build software that works across domestic and foreign chips amid export restrictions.
