David Broncano

Mexican actor Diego Luna is among the guests announced by David Broncano for this week's episodes of his Spanish talk show. Broncano revealed the full guest lineup in advance in an effort to compete with rival hosts Pablo Motos and Iker Jiménez in the ratings. Luna's appearance is drawing attention from Spanish audiences.

Mariano Benítez de Lugo, the lawyer known for having Mariano Rajoy testify in the Gürtel corruption case and for defending evicted families, appeared on David Broncano's show La Revuelta to discuss Spain's housing crisis. He argued that Article 47 of the Constitution, which guarantees decent housing, is being ignored, and said the government's housing decree should simply have barred evictions without alternative housing.

Spanish TV ratings are drawing attention after Iker Jiménez's show Horizonte aired an interview with Madrid regional president Isabel Díaz Ayuso on October 2, going head-to-head in primetime with David Broncano's La Revuelta and Pablo Motos's El Hormiguero. Viewers and media commentators are comparing the audience figures each program achieved in the overlap.
