Danila

Russian forward Danila Yurov scored his second goal of the season, the game-winner in a match against the Vegas Golden Knights, in NHL Stanley Cup play. In just over ten and a half minutes of ice time he recorded one shot, finished with a plus-one rating, and won 60 percent of his faceoffs, though he also took four penalty minutes. The performance has drawn attention among Russian hockey fans following the league.

The United Nations Development Programme is featuring Danila in its 'Path to a Profession' series, telling how programming became a space without barriers for him. The story highlights inclusive pathways into tech careers, showing how digital skills can offer professional opportunities regardless of physical or social obstacles, as part of UNDP's broader work on employment and inclusion.
